As a Senior Tools Programmer, you will build, develop and maintain tools to assist the company's game development. This is a challenging but rewarding role, working with a multi-talented team to make cutting-edge VR games.
In your first few weeks in this Tools Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Work closely with artists, designers and programmers to write or iterate on tools that help their workflow
- Write and maintain clear technical design documentation and informative tools manuals
- Help define tools roadmap by gathering requirements from stakeholders.
To apply for this tools engineer role, you will need at least five years of professional experience as a Tools Programmer or a related position. You will also require solid C++, C#, and Python experience. In addition, you should have experience in version control using Perforce and the ability to gather requirements and plan systems required using the platforms provided.
