As a Senior Tools Programmer, you will build creative tools and be visionary in creating solutions and improvements to the tooling side of the company's game engine.
In your first few weeks in this tools programming job, you can expect to:
- Be a member of the Tools and Engine team and take responsibility for a part of the toolset and pipelines
- Design and implement improvements to the company's editor and associated tools
To apply for this Senior Tools Programmer role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, and professional tools programming experience on AAA title(s) would be ideal. You will also require excellent knowledge of C++, C/C# and code design. In addition, you should have good collaboration skills and the ability to figure out what users "really" want. An understanding of content pipelines for game production and experience with agile methodologies is desirable.
