Senior Tools Programmer in Amsterdam

As a Senior Tools Programmer at this studio in central Amsterdam, you will be working on the design and implementation of tools that will help improve the capacity of the team working on the project. You’ll be working within a large, dynamic studio environment, full of passionate people with a world of experience.

Senior Tools Programmer key responsibilities:
- Help to establish the vision for game content-authoring tools
- Work with the programming team to achieve that vision
- Streamline the game creation process and maintain a strategic overview
- Drive new tool development whilst improving existing ones
- Keep focus on underlying workflow processes and user experience
- Work with other disciplines to analyse workflows and identify areas for improvement and solution implementations
Essential requirements for this role in Amsterdam:
- Significant DCC/HUI Tools Development experience in the games industry or similar
- Highly experienced C++ programmer with strong software design and architecture skills
- Comfortable working with a large codebase and toolset
- Desire to work in an innovative and dynamic game development environment
