Senior Tools Programmer in London

Are you Tools Engineer with plenty of experience in C++ and software architecture? Would you like to join a AAA studio and support the team in building stunning games?

As a Senior Tools Programmer at this studio in London, you will be ensuring optimal workflows are kept up by developing and implementing tools using Unreal Engine. You will be working on truly iconic IP, as well as a brand-new project which is currently top secret, but is highly anticipated in the industry!

Senior Tools Programmer responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain workflow tools for the art and design teams
  • This will include the World Editor, procedural LOD generation and more
  • Work with the Engine team to implement a stable back end for the tools
  • Respond to issues with tools quickly and efficiently
  • Implement tools to a high standard

Key requirements for this role in London:

  • Good C/C++ skills
  • Skilled in software architecture
  • Experience of developing assets and world building tools alongside artists and game designers
  • Able to design reusable systems in a large code base
  • Experience working in Unreal Engine 3 or 4 would be a bonus
  • Experience supporting AAA production workflows would be a bonus
  • Be passionate about playing and creating games
