The emphasis in this role is on technically complex designs and implementations, using proprietary visual scripting workflows.
In your first few weeks in this Senior Technical Designer role, you can expect to:
- Work with design, animation, and code teams to implement character abilities, animation networks and entity setups
- Work with other design departments to drive the development of new and existing tools and workflows
- Put many of the final touches on content, making sure that it is clean, modular and efficient
- Leverage existing systems to get the most out of the content.
This role will suit a great communicator who wants to collaborate with a broad range of teams. You must have a good understanding of character creation pipelines for video games and be experienced with visual scripting. A background in one or more related fields, e.g., game design, animation, rigging, modelling, and visual effects, would be highly beneficial.
