As a Senior Systems Designer, you will be part of a cross-discipline team and guide the team to make the best decisions from a game design perspective. You will design systems such as player progression systems, achievements and other forms of player performance tracking systems, including character performance statistics.
In your first few weeks in this Senior Systems Designer role, you can expect to:
- Design, tune, and deliver player progression systems, including loot, skill trees, crafting, power curves and achievements
- Champion the product vision with a team of artists, programmers, and designers
- Deliver game systems that keep players engaged across continuous live service updates for many years
- Work closely with production to ensure the team is tracking on time and on quality.
To apply for this Senior Systems Designer role, you will need 5+ years of experience working as a System Designer in the game industry and a passion for MMORPGS, action RPGs and MOBAs. You will also require the following:
- A deep understanding of end-game systems, min/maxing, and balancing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with retention loops, monetization, progression systems, onboarding, customization, and currencies
- Experience leading cross-discipline feature teams.
