Senior Sound Designer in Stockholm

As a Senior Sound Designer at this Stockholm-based game studio, you will be creating and implementing sound effects into the game, being the go-to person for sound related ideas and finding a sound identity for the game, whilst mentoring other Sound Designers in an effort to achieve the highest possible quality for the title.

Senior Sound Designer responsibilities: 

• Be the main audio content creator for the project 
• Be the main contributor of ideas to establish a sound identity for the game 
• Create a cohesive sound experience throughout the game 
• Mentor other members of the audio team in creation and implementation of sound effects 
• Record source material 
• Find and suggest solutions to enhance game experiences 

Key requirements for this role in Stockholm: 

• Extensive prior experience as a Sound Designer in the games industry 
• Experience using game engines to implement and work with audio 
• Experience working with sound design on three or more games in a Sound Designer role 
• Strong understanding and skills in creating high quality game audio 
• Able to create impressive sounds across styles and aesthetics 
• Passionate about games 
• Strong understanding of logic-based systems 
• Working knowledge of tools such as Blueprints, Max-MSP, Pure Data or similar 
• Proficient in audio middleware technology 
• Experience implementing complex audio systems
