As a flexible Senior Software Engineer, you will join an established team and work on a AAA gaming title. You will collaborate with colleagues in game design and gameplay engineering to provide support through the architecture, design, implementation, and optimisation of the layer that connects players and guides the company's games.
In your first few weeks in this Senior Software Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Design and architect solutions with the team and technical director
- Deliver high-quality, optimised, and clean code
- Set standards by example
- Improve overall code quality, such as by code reviews
- Guide, coach, and mentor associate engineers
To succeed in this software engineering job, you should have shipped multiple AAA titles and have a wealth of experience. You will also require a thorough understanding of software development, focusing on game development. In addition, you should have exceptional expertise in C++ and at least one other high-level language. Unreal Engine experience is also preferred.
