As a Mid-Senior Software Engineer at this studio based in El Segundo, California, you will be tasked with looking after UI and UX features for the project using UE4 and C++ to develop systems, optimise algorithms and a whole lot more.

Mid-Senior Software Engineer responsibilities: 

• Look after authoring and maintaining UI/UX menus and features 
• Ensure all technical and design requirements are met 
• Develop UI and UX systems in UE4 using C++ and UMG 
• Contribute to a large codebase adding features and working to improve performance 
• Optimise algorithms to achieve performance goals 
• Ensure UI and UX systems are stable 

Key requirements for this role in El Segundo: 

• Extensive experience in a Software Engineering role 
• Able to work with other disciplines on the implementation of UI/UX features 
• Skilled in C/C++ 
• Passionate about game UI/UX 
• University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
