As a Senior Service and Platform Engineer at this studio, you will be working on a fully remote basis (from within North America) as you work with a talented team on the next big IP, striving to create memorable and compelling player experiences.
This AAA studio is a leading global platform for game development and publishing, as well as operating one of the largest online game communities in China. Currently home to over 140 games, they offer some thrilling cross-platform interactive experiences, and with more new titles up their sleeve, it’s a great time to join the team!
Senior Service & Platform Engineer responsibilities:
- Define the vision and strategy of infrastructure services
- Design and build multiple types of service APIs
- Work to provide a memorable player experience
- Write clear, maintainable and portable code
- Develop new and existing tools
- Give and receive feedback with team members
Essential requirements for this remote role:
- Understanding of modern design patterns and paradigms (around API contracts and backend services)
- Strong debugging and optimisation skills
- Able to prototype and iterate quickly alongside others
- Be based in North America
