Skillsearch is seeking a flexible and remote SAP Payroll Functional Consultant to join a collaborative and inclusive company in Germany. This contract Payroll Functional Consultant will be key in ensuring all client configuration requirements are correct, and the role comes with an attractive pay rate of €950 per day.
The SAP Payroll Functional Consultant will take ownership of the technical and functional implementation of client projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional workstreams to provide support and guidance for data migrations and operational activities. This role is fully remote, and you must have English and German language proficiency to apply.
During your first few weeks in this Payroll Functional Consultant role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:
- Partner with clients to understand their current payroll requirements to propose effective solutions
- Understand client business issues and constraints and recommend the best solutions
- Capture and document client requirements as appropriate and create the relevant work packages according to the agreed-signed solutions
- Guide the solution design, review and alignment of deliverables to ensure the team delivers on time and within the scope
- Ensure that lessons learned activities from a functional and technical point of view are completed
To succeed in this flexible role, you will need exceptional SAP Payroll functional and technical implementation and configuration experience in German Payroll. You will also require the following:
- Experience leading a project team delivering SAP payroll implementations for country-specific clients
- An exceptional understanding of country-specific payroll legislation and practices
- Experience in a consulting role within a payroll technology environment
- Excellent analytical capabilities and an eye for detail
- A natural communicator with the ability to build successful relationships with clients and teams
