Senior Sales Manager in Bristol: 

Are you an experienced Sales Manager in the games industry? Do you like the sound working in a senior role at a world class studio? If this sounds interesting, read on to find out more!  

As a Senior Sales Manager in Bristol, you will be working with the Director of Distribution, sales, and acquisitions teams to exploit both new and existing IP, alongside 3rd party productions, across TV, DVD, and digital platforms.  

This 10-time Oscar nominee studio works to inspire current and potential new clients, as well as global audiences with their latest ideas and talent. Working with huge brands and developing successful character brands across all media, this is a super exciting team to be a part of. 

Senior Sales Manager key responsibilities: 

  • Act as a main point of contact for buyers. 
  • Lead deal negotiations within the budget parameters and sales targets. 
  • Liaise across multiple departments within the company in the execution of the sales strategy. 
  • Develop a sales plan for each area and lay out 3-year annual forecasts. 
  • Responsible for all acquisition, lead sales results within the team and work closely with the Head of Sales to strategize current sales.  
  • Line manage the Royalties and Revenue Executive. Support them in their day-to-day role, focusing on their remit in terms of financial reporting and IP sales reports. 
  • Work closely with the Director of Distribution on Pay TV and DVD sales in Germany, as well as DVD licenses in the USA. 
  • Obtain market information and intelligence, whilst keeping the company up to date with developments and trends in the international marketplace. 
  • Undertake foreign sales trips and attend key markets. 
  • Work closely with the finance department on communicating forecasts and actual sales. 
  • Liase closely with Licensing & Marketing executives to implement strategies for key brands in key areas. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and update quarterly reports. 


Essential requirements for this role in Bristol: 

  • Experience of TV distribution 
  • Excellent negotiation skills and sales techniques 
  • Previous attendance at major TV markets 
  • Previous experience of independent sales trips 
  • A team player with experience managing sales agent 
  • Must present well and be confident with clients 
  • Foreign language an advantage 
  • Knowledge of the kids TV business 
  • Good PC and organisational skills 
  • Strong understanding of contracts and accounts 
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative
