Senior Prop Artist

Skillsearch is helping a games studio in Amsterdam find a Senior Prop Artist. The role comes with a generous salary, many excellent benefits and the chance to work in a prime Amsterdam location.  

As a Senior Prop Artist, you will work directly with the Lead 3D Artist, and have ownership over the project’s Prop library, workflows, and benchmark assets. Basic Roles and Responsibilities: Create high-quality assets and props at AAA quality. Help the world come to life through the creation of believable, appropriate, and excellent Props to support environmental storytelling. 

In your first few weeks in this Senior Prop Artist role, you can expect to: 

• Help the game come to life through the creation of believable, appropriate and excellent props to support environmental storytelling 
• Support the Environment Art team with the creation of hero assets, set dressing, tiling materials, geology assets, and various other props 
• Occasionally support the Character Art team and other team members. 

To apply for this Senior Prop Artist role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include: 

• Experience working in Unreal Engine 
• A portfolio showing expertise in creating high-quality props 
• Experience in Blender is a plus, but not a must 
• Excellent communication skills.
