As a Senior Programmer at this studio in Malmo, you will play a pivotal role in seeing the title currently in development through early access release and beyond as you oversee all technical aspects of the product, whilst providing mentoring support to junior members of the team and ensure they are empowered to do their best work.
This small but rapidly growing team are passionate about every game in their portfolio and with their newly opened Malmo site, they’re looking for a team to build it from the ground up, with the backing of a thriving indie studio and publisher.
Senior Programmer responsibilities:
- Oversee technical aspects of games including debugging, implementation and optimisation
- Implement gameplay and physics systems written in C++ and blueprint in the codebase
- Mentor less experienced members of the team
Key requirements for this role in Malmo:
- Extensive prior experience as a Game Programmer/Engineer
- Experience developing and releasing multiplayer games for PC/console
- Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine
- Strong C++ knowledge
- Experience working with continuous integration
