Our client is looking for a collaborative and enthusiastic Senior Player Programmer who is ready for the challenge of bringing a well-known movie franchise to life in our upcoming multiplayer AAA title on next-generation platforms. This role can be offered on a remote, hybrid working, or studio-based in London and comes with a generous salary. 

If you were already up and running in this role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in last week: 

  • Delivering a range of gameplay features such as character abilities, melee, traversal mechanics, camera, and controls 
  • Designing and coding features 
  • Working closely with designers, producers, animators, artists, and QA to drive features through all stages of production (taking a collaborative approach) 

To apply for this Senior Player Programmer role, you will need an advanced understanding of C++, a good understanding of game technology principles, and a solid understanding of 3D maths. You will also require the following: 

  • Demonstrable video game design skills 
  • Experience working on some aspect of player character control, traversal, camera, or animation
