Senior Level Designer

Skillsearch is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Level Designer to join our client's inclusive and welcoming team. This full-time Level Designer role is based in Horsham, West Sussex, and comes with a generous salary and benefits package. 

As a Senior Level Designer, you will work closely with the company's concept and environment art team to create stunning locations in their exciting new game. 

In your first few weeks in this Senior Level Designer role, you can expect to: 

• Own the development of interesting layout, from early block out to final 
• Oversee the markup and integration of gameplay ingredients and systems at the game level 
• Manage and coach members of the design team 
• Work with environment artists to ensure that the level will deliver on the artistic vision of the title 

To apply for this Level Designer job, you will need to understand various level design types, concepts and best practices. You will also require the following: 

• Professional experience as a level designer 
• Good attention to detail and the ability to self-critique 
• Experience with current commercial 3D game engines 
• Ability to share and receive feedback and contribute to a creative environment 

• Experience in multiplayer level creation and with Unreal Engine (desirable)
