Do you have level design experience, and are you seeking a new job in Shenzhen? Skillsearch is working with a collaborative company who are looking for a Level Designer, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.  

As a flexible Level Designer, you will be responsible for the PVP level design of a shooting game, design and output of the 2D concept map and design of the level and build a white box corresponding to the level. 

In your first few weeks in this level designer role, you can expect to: 

  • Write the level gameplay, make the map corresponding to the mode 
  • Follow up the realization and optimisation of program functions, related tools, art resources, etc 
  • Analyse the actual level playing situation of players from relevant statistical data, survey questionnaires, forums, game websites, etc 
  • Formulate follow-up optimization plans based on data and feedback and follow up specific development to ensure that it achieves the expected adjustment goals 

To apply for this level design role, you will need a bachelor's degree or above and 3 years or more experience in level design in the game industry. You will also require the following: 

  • Love all kinds of games, especially mainstream shooting games, have rich game experience, have played more than three shooting games in-depth, and have good analysis and understanding skills 
  • Participated in the development of at least one FPS/TPS game project (need to attach work design draft, screenshots or links, etc) 
  • Have good written expression ability, and the written plan must be more logical and easier to read 
  • Familiar with one 2D drawing software, which can in return for your knowledge and expertise, you will receive a favourable salary and benefits package
