Skillsearch is seeking a talented Senior Gameplay Programmer to join a growing team and make their mark on an enterprising coop third-person shooter game. This full-time gameplay programming role offers flexible working across the UK and comes with a generous salary and benefits.
As a skilled Senior Gameplay Programmer, you will work closely with game designers, VFX artists, and the broader technology and rendering teams to help implement improvements to key features. The company operates across multiple UK locations, with studios in Oxford, Warwick, Liverpool and Wakefield. Work-life balance is important to them, and they want everyone at the company to work in the best way for them. To apply for this Senior Gameplay Programmer role, you will need excellent C/C++ programming skills, with sound knowledge of object-oriented development. You will also require the following:
- Professional experience having shipped a game, ideally on console or PC, with work related to 3D camera and VFX positioning, sequencing and animation
- Good communication and team working abilities
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving capabilities
- A keen interest in cinematography/camera composition and animation (ideal)
