We are helping a gaming company find a skilled and talented Senior Game UX/UI Designer to join their inclusive and friendly team. This full-time game design role is based in Los Angeles, CA, and comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.  

As a flexible Senior Game UX/UI Designer, you will be part of the business analysis phase regarding usability/navigation considerations and other aspects. You will also collect requirements, identify design problems, and suggest elegant solutions. 

In your first few weeks in this Senior Game UX/UI Designer role, you can expect to: 

  • Set up a UX direction and present the guideline orally and on paper 
  • Conduct the game's primary structure and logic rules, design values, gameplay, system function, basic interface, user consumption system, etc. 
  • Direct, collaborate and iterate with the Studio Director and all teams on implementing your suggestions 
  • Work with the User Research Manager and other team members to solicit feedback 
  • Design and make the work arrangements, guide and supervise the design process, and establish a quick and effective design system 

To apply for this UX/UI game design role, you will need solid and proven working experience in game UX design. You will also require expertise in building and improving UX systems from conception to release to ensure an optimum player experience aligned with the creative direction. In addition, you should be proficient in using different game design software and eager to learn new ideas, techniques, and trends to help the game development. You will also require the following: 

  • A user-centred mindset and a desire to create top-level online game products 
  • A passion for the gaming industry and a fan of strategy games 
  • Excellent sense of responsibility, quality-oriented, and able to resolve problems throughout obstacles to ensure the best output of the design 
  • Good English language skills and proficiency in Chinese is a plus
