Do you have user experience or research experience, and are you seeking a new job in Los Angeles? Skillsearch is looking for a full-time Senior Game User Researcher, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.  

As a flexible UX analyst, you will contribute to game localization in North America and partner with designers and producers on game teams to improve user experience through evaluation and follow-up. 

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do: 

  • Conduct and supervise user research for at least one game title in collaboration with stakeholders 
  • Plan and conduct user research independently using quantitative and qualitative research 
  • Craft and edit reports and surveys in a variety of length and detail formats 
  • Communicate summarized research results effectively to development teams for discussion and future implementation. 

To apply, you will need at least 5 years of experience in UX research, with experience in the video game industry preferred. You will also require the following: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree (MS, PhD, etc.) preferred 
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools 
  • Experience with FPS/MMORPG/Gacha RPG/Strategy games, focus groups, interviews, card sorts or field studies.
