As a Senior Game Tools Engineer, you will collaborate with your colleagues in game design and gameplay engineering to provide support through the architecture, design, implementation, and optimisation of the layer that connects players and drives games.
In your first few weeks in this Senior Software Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Build tools within Unreal 5, along with any necessary work to interface with external content creation tools
- Proactively identify the tools that will be needed throughout the development of the project
- Participate in feature design to assist in the creation of supporting tools and technologies
- Improve existing pipelines and tools to decrease iteration times for content creators.
To apply for this Senior Software Engineer role, you will need to have shipped more than one title, preferably AAA. You will also require the following:
- Deep understanding of the game content creation process
- Solid understanding of 3D mathematics and physics
- Unreal Engine 4 or 5 experience
- Solid debugging and optimisation skills in C++
