As a Senior Game Programmer at this studio in Wilmslow, you will be taking on a multi-faceted role, focusing on making the games here the best they can be. However, you will also be taking on a mentorship role for more junior members of the programming team, performing tests, and a whole lot more!

Senior Game Programmer responsibilities:
- Engineer game systems to create game content
- Work on AI systems to create networked AI
- Write player mechanics and GUI systems
- Code using C++
- Evaluate code reviews
- Mentor more junior members of the team
- Write tests to validate the ongoing stability of work
Key requirements for this role in Wilmslow:
- Talented gameplay programmer
- Understanding of what makes a game great
- Object-oriented C++ skills
- 3D maths and physics skills
- Understanding of systems optimisation
- Able to create efficient code
- Extensive games industry experience
- Experience working in Unreal Engine 4 on one or more released console game
- University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or similar
