We're working exclusively with the thriving studio that is Gram Games to find their new Senior Game Platform Engineer to join their talented London-based team!
As a Senior Game Platform Engineer at this studio in London, you will be extending the infrastructure of backend systems for games, improving current architecture and generally putting your efforts towards ensuring their loyal player base get the best gaming experience possible every single time.
This studio is owned by a games giant and is home to several top-rated titles! Senior Game Platform Engineer responsibilities:
- Design and develop shared services
- Improve the scalability and security of the platform
- Write strong code to be used in services
Essential requirements for this role in London:
- Significant prior experience using Go in a large code base
- Strong understanding of concurrency and distributed systems
- Understanding of Linux and other languages such as Bash, Python, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and AWS
- Experience with database design and implementation
- Understanding of SQL
- Able to understand existing implementations and propose improvements and solutions
- Able to implement, deploy and troubleshoot a range of issues
- Understanding of C#
