Do you have game art experience, and are you seeking a new remote job? If so, we want to hear from you! Skillsearch is looking for a talented and collaborative Senior Game Artist to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This full-time Game Artist role is remote in the UK and comes with an excellent salary and benefits package.  

As a Senior Game Artist, you will make the company's games look incredible with broad commercial appeal. You will also have a solid product and audience focus and be responsible for creating high-quality, game-ready assets for various games and defining the art style in new games. 

In your first few weeks in this Senior Game Artist role, you can expect to: 

  • Establish and maintain a clear artistic vision for the company's new games and work with feedback from the team 
  • Create and iterate on concept artwork, illustrating various assets (characters, animals, backgrounds, objects, UI) 
  • Create high-quality final game art rendered to exceed the current standard in the company's games and contend with the top industry competition 
  • Ideate new art for games or improvements to existing pieces 

To apply for this game art role, you will need exceptional 2D art skills and the ability to concept and illustrate human/animal characters, backgrounds and items. You will also require the ability to render winning concepts to a high standard, ready for in-game use and an exceptional understanding of colour theory and lighting. In addition, you should have at least four years of experience as a game artist for casual mobile games and a portfolio of released, commercially successful projects. 3D art skills and a passion for playing and developing free-to-play, casual mobile games would also be beneficial.
