We’re hiring a Strategic Partnerships Manager to lead new business development and brand partnerships within the gaming and entertainment ecosystem. This role focuses on building strategic alliances, expanding market opportunities, and delivering high-impact campaigns for partners looking to engage gaming audiences.

About the role

As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, building relationships with brands and agencies, and delivering integrated marketing campaigns. You will work closely with internal marketing and delivery teams to develop strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and long-term brand engagement.

This role combines business development, account management, and marketing strategy within a fast-moving digital entertainment environment.

What you’ll do

Strategic business development

  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships with brands, technology platforms, and content partners
  • Develop alliances that drive revenue growth and expand market presence
  • Identify opportunities in new sectors such as FMCG, finance, and automotive brands seeking to reach youth audiences
  • Develop consultative proposals that demonstrate clear partnership value

Sales and marketing collaboration

  • Act as the main point of contact between partners and internal teams
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new campaigns, events, and initiatives
  • Ensure successful execution of marketing campaigns and brand collaborations
  • Analyse campaign performance and refine strategies based on results

Account management and retention

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with sponsors and brand partners
  • Provide regular campaign performance updates and identify upsell opportunities
  • Develop relationships with media agencies and creative partners to expand opportunities
  • Attend industry networking events to strengthen partnerships and identify new leads

What we’re looking for

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships, media sales, agency account management, or brand marketing solutions
  • Proven experience driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships
  • Experience working with brand sponsors or marketing agencies

Skills

  • Strong business development and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop strategic marketing proposals and partnership strategies
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate marketing value into commercial outcomes

Market knowledge

  • Established network within the Malaysian advertising, media, or brand ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of youth marketing and digital entertainment audiences

Languages

  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Mandarin language skills are a plus

Working style

  • Self-motivated with a strong performance-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
