As a Senior Environment (Level) Artist in Amsterdam, you will work as a key member of the art team, creating quality, modular and detailed environment models. You will be joining a project at the beginning, giving you the opportunity to make a significant contribution to its development.

This AAA studio is home to one of the bestselling games of all time and is made up of a tight team of talented individuals. 4 years after the release of their flagship title, which is one of the highest selling games of all time, they are now working on a brand new, highly anticipated project... Requirements

  • Experience in the games industry and previously shipped AAA titles
  • A portfolio of examples of your high-quality environment and level artwork
  • Expertise in either 3dsMax, Maya, Blender, Zbrush, Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop and other technologies utilized in the production of game art
  • Knowledge in UE4/UE5

Responsibilities

  • Building stunning visual environments and AAA quality art assets to populate and dress the game and environmental storytelling through the set dressings
  • Sculpting and modelling high and low polygon assets and texturing them through the PBR pipeline, setting the bar for the other artists in the studio
  • Ensuring the assets created follow the given art direction, are within the agreed production deadlines, and conform to the required technical specifications
  • Receiving, giving, and applying feedback effectively whilst maintaining a positive attitude and a positive style of communication within the production team and across the art leads
