We are recruiting a full-time Senior Environment Artist for an established and prestigious studio where you will help create new and iconic franchises. This fully remote role is based in the US and offers an excellent salary and benefits package.

As an Environment Artist, you will work with the studio's Lead Artist and Level Designer to create stunning and dynamic 3D environments for games. We are seeking highly collaborative, passionate, independent, and motivated artists who will help define gaming for new generations of players.

During your first few weeks in this Environment Artist role, you can expect to work in some of the following areas:

  • Shape the experiences and areas of the game from start to finish while collaborating with the Art Lead, Design Lead, and Technical Art disciplines
  • Contribute to the artistic execution of the environments in the game by modelling, texturing, applying materials, lighting, and assisting with layout
  • Create high-res and low-res textured game assets (modular, texture and material creation and implementation, PBR, environment lighting, etc)
  • Work with Art Lead and Production to manage the environment art pipeline and determine what assets to keep in-house and what to send out to outsourcing partners

The successful Environment Artist applicant will have professional experience as a mid-level environment artist working on 3D environments for real-time games, including significant contributions to a shipped title. You will also require:

  • A portfolio that displays a keen eye for making aesthetically pleasing art, with some examples of both stylized and realistic work
  • Experience with organic and hard surface modelling
  • Technical understanding and ability to stay within frame rate, managing memory and budgets
  • Experience with Unreal Engine or equivalent

In return for your passion, collaborative approach and commitment, you will receive a generous salary and benefits package, joining a friendly and inclusive culture.
