As a Senior Environment Artist at this studio in Guildford, you will be working closely with the Art Director to bring cinematics worlds to life through stunning scene composition and atmosphere. If you like the sound of putting your skills to work on high quality, cinematic games, then you’ll be a great fit here.

Senior Environment Artist key responsibilities:
- Create environments and assets to stay in line with the art direction
- Take on responsibility for whole environments
- Bring scenes to a final strong quality through iteration
- Create props for character iteration
- Work on creating a AAA game experience
Essential requirements for this role in Guildford:
- Extensive experience in a 3D Artist role
- Have worked on one or more published titles for the full project lifecycle
- Deep understanding of high-end 3D modelling and PBR pipeline
- Extensive knowledge of workflows and methods required for game environment creation
- Strong portfolio of work demonstrating realistic assets
- Knowledge of modular workflows
- Skilled in Maya, Substance Painter/Designer, Unreal Engine 4 (or similar)

Located in a beautiful spot in between London and England’s south coast, Guildford is a busy market town that has been recently updated to be home to some great modern facilities such as an award-winning sport centre, including an ice rink and athletics stadium. However, there is still some culture to be explored in this city, with its historic buildings, beautiful parks and a theatre. Sitting on top of a central hill, Guildford Cathedral looks over the city whilst being surrounded by beautiful, picturesque scenery, making for some great exploring. Situated just outside of London, Guildford is a short 35-minute journey into the capital by train, so is ideally positioned so you are not too far away from a day trip to the big city!
