As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work closely with engineers, designers, producers and company administration to develop the ability to understand and improve the player experience by linking technical analysis to meaningful player outcomes. You will also guide improvements and generate insights from the company's analytic pipeline.
In your first few weeks in this Senior Data Analyst role, you can expect to:
- Draw insights from complex player and service data and use those insights to make recommendations to improve the game’s development and operation
- Identify opportunities to expand understanding of the player experience by developing new KPIs and analytic events
- Design monitoring and reporting of key player and service health indicators
- Work collaboratively with a data engineer to level up the analytic capabilities of the studio
To apply for this data analysis job, you must have an analytical mind, creative problem-solving skills and the ability to draw clear insights out of ambiguity. You will also require a background in SQL, Python, Snowflake, R or similar. In addition, you should have experience with data visualisation tools like Grafana, Tableau and Metabase. Outstanding math and statistics skills and excellent communication in technical and nontechnical contexts are also essential.
