Reporting to the company's design director and gameplay lead, you will be helping the rest of the team bring the combat vision of the project to life.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Understand the scope of the game and identify key areas where you think you can make a real difference
- Iterate on the existing combat systems with deep mastery curves and progression, ensuring they remain fun and balanced
- Develop key technical systems to support the game and work with gameplay data and metrics to come to meaningful conclusions
- Work closely with other disciplines to create an engaging and memorable player experience.
To apply, you will need previous experience building combat systems. You will also require the following:
- Previous experience working on (or an intense love of) multiplayer action games
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Great listening skills, able to take on and provide critical feedback.
