Senior Cinematic Artist

 Our client, a remote-first game development company, is looking for a Senior Cinematic Artist. This full-time remote role comes with a generous salary and benefits. 

This role will spearhead the creation of cinematic content for Predecessor using Unreal Engine 5.  

In your first few weeks in this Senior Cinematic Artist role, you can expect to: 

• Build and manage intricate scenes for real-time cinematic use in Unreal Engine, focusing on photorealism and stylistic variety 
• Craft detailed materials and lighting setups to enhance visual storytelling and the thematic depth of trailers to wow our audience 
• Implement a wide range of visual effects and basic animations to enhance the cinematic quality of scenes 
• Create detailed storyboards and animatics to visualize cinematic sequences 

To apply for this Senior Cinematic Artist role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include: 

• Mastery of shader languages like HLSL, and GLSL with substantial experience in shader and material development for cinematic content 
• Proven ability to create both photorealistic and stylized art, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the artistic and technical aspects of cinematic production 
• Extensive experience with Unreal Engine, especially in crafting real-time, cinematic content
