Skillsearch is helping a collaborative company recruit a talented Senior Character TD to join its inclusive and dedicated team. This full-time Character TD role is remote in the UK and comes with an attractive salary of up to £60,000 and excellent benefits.
As a skilled Senior Character TD, you will develop realistic and stylised rigs for various humanoids, creatures and props. You will also maintain and enhance the quality of current production rigs.
In your first few weeks in this Senior Character TD role, you can expect to:
- Maintain and enhance the quality of current internally developed tools and systems
- Write tools in Python to speed up production
- Stay up to date with technologies and techniques
- Troubleshoot rigging and pipeline issues
To apply for this Character TD job, you will need a minimum of 4 years of experience and a good understanding of anatomy and motion. You will also require great skinning skills and expertise in Python Scripting and Maya API. Ideally, you will also have experience with 3D Math, hyper-realistic face and body rigging and C++
