Skillsearch has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and creative Senior Character Artist to join our client's friendly and talented team. This full-time 3D Character Artist role is remote in France and offers an excellent salary and benefits, along with the chance to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture. 

As a Senior Character Artist, you will work with the company on their games to create outstanding characters, environments and animations that amaze millions of players!  

In your first few weeks in this Senior Character Artist role, you can expect to: 

  • Create high-precision models, maps, lighting and rendering for characters and props 
  • Be responsible for Unity3D resource integration and optimisation 

To apply for this Senior 3D Character Artist role, you will need 3+ years of experience in game character production and a professional portfolio with high-quality examples of 3D characters in cartoon style. You will also require an affinity with a Disney or Pixar art style and familiarity with most of the tools in the industry, including Zbrush+Maya, Xgen (hair), 3dsMax/Maya (rigging and binding), Substance Painter (texture), Maya + Arnold (rendering) and Marmoset (toolbag). In addition, you should have a good knowledge of anatomy and a deep understanding of game art assets, pipelines and workflows. A passion for making and playing games is also essential.
