As a Senior Character Artist at this studio in London, you will be focusing on looking after External Development for character art, guiding external partners as they create a range of characters, creatures, weapons and more, ensuring their assets are consistent and reach the expected quality standards.

Senior Character Artist responsibilities: 

• Provide technical and aesthetic feedback to external artists 
• Document and supervise creation of briefs, asset packs, style guides and documentation 
• Build the project vision and ensure content creation is consistent with this vision 
• Establish benchmarks for external teams to meet product quality 
• Coordinate internal artists 
• Develop best practices, work to optimise the team and their processes, seek and implement solutions 

Essential requirements for this role in London: 

• Able to work with detail concept art/reference art 
• Understanding of art development pipelines, high to low lighting, surface material authoring and can set standard methodologies to reduce bugs 
• Highly organised 
• Modelling, sculpting and texturing skills
