Senior C++ Programmer responsibilities:
- Translate features from designers into efficient code
- Explore game ideas by producing prototypes
- Implement technical aspects of games such as networking, animation, effects, UI, etc.
- Assess and solve performance issues within the existing codebase
- Analyse and improve core technology and tools
- Act as a technical expert in providing support and feedback
Key requirements for this role in Falmouth:
- Experience of working on one or more shipped PC/console game with credits for engine or graphics
- Expert C++ and systems design skills
- Experienced with UE4 programming on published games
- Knowledge of engine low-level systems such as graphics, physics and networking
- University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science
- Experience of one or more graphics API
- Experience of cross-platform development
- Experience with JIRA and/or Agile software development
