As a Senior C++ Gameplay Engineer at this studio in Los Angeles, you will be working on designing innovative and robust game systems in Unreal Engine 4. You will work closely with several teams including QA, Artists and Designers to perfect and constantly improve gameplay systems.
This studio is made up of an impressive team of industry greats, who are passionate about making top quality engaging games. They are currently working on brand new AAA gaming experiences, so it is the perfect time to join the team! A little bit about the city: LA
Los Angeles is spread out a lot compared to other cities, to the point where walking anywhere is pretty uncommon! LA County is home to 88 cities including Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and West Hollywood – and although they operate independently of LA, they are still a part of the metropolis. Los Angeles’ freeway system is daunting and infamously hectic. Despite this, most LA dwellers still use their own cars to get around, although other popular options include ordering a Lyft or an Uber (ride-share apps). One thing LA is rightly famous for is their climate. With sun near to 365 days a year and an average of 75 degrees Fahrenheit every year for the past 30 years, the weather here is near on idyllic!

Ryan looks after programmers particularly focusing on the VR/AR space. We think he’s working here mostly get his hands on new Lord of the Rings VR experiences as soon as they come out although, with his level of knowledge, maybe he should be helping make them instead! He is one of the few people on the team that is a born and bred Brightonian. In fact he has never moved far - to the point where last time he moved, it was only 2 doors down from his old place!
