Senior C++ Developer in Amsterdam
Are you a C++ Developer with AAA experience? Are you looking for a new opportunity at a world-renowned studio?
As a Senior C++ Developer at this award-winning studio in Amsterdam, you will be responsible for researching, developing and implementing new game features for their new unannounced AAA titles, as well as mentoring junior members of the team.
The studio is home to one of the most successful multiplayer shooter games around and the special projects department you will be working in is made up of a small elite team of industry veterans! If you will be relocating for the role, the studio offers a comprehensive relocation package for you and your loved ones, which will get you settled into Amsterdam no problem.
Senior C++ Developer responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between aspirational project goals and technical solutions
- Research and implement new tools and game systems
- Implement and debug new and existing game features
- Identify 3rd party technologies
- Mentor other team members on your project
- Provide feedback to colleagues throughout project
Key requirements for this role in Amsterdam:
- Significant experience in the games industry in a software developer role
- Experience having shipped titles in a programming role, or similar
- Strong knowledge and understanding of software engineering values
- Talented in C/C++
- Strong in one of the following areas: rendering, core engine, networking, gameplay, AI, tools
- Experience of adapting third party technologies
