Senior Animation Software Engineer

Here is your chance to join a top studio, highly-regarded by their staff. You would be working on AAA titles and become part of a leading software engineering team in Nottingham, UK.

With your experience in the design and implementation of next-generation animation systems, our client is looking for you to join them on their upcoming projects.

If you are up to the challenge of designing & implementing animation features within a large-scale, open-world game featuring dynamic humanoid and animal characters - this role would suit you perfectly.

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in C++ programming.
  • Professional experience with developing animations for games.
  • Experience with implementing animation features into a muliplayer title.
  • Strong command of advanced techniques such as: Inverse kinematics, dynamic blending, morph targets, etc.
  • Great problem-solving, debugging and optimisation skills.

Desirable:

  • Able to successfully work with artists & animators, in order to fully realise their characters in game.
  • Previous experience working on an MMO game.
  • The ability to verbalise tricky concepts and the willingness to take constructive criticism.
