As a Build Engineer, you will maintain and implement pipeline automation, continually looking for ways to optimise for better build deployment. You will be liaising with and supporting designers, artists and other programmers, helping ensure that their work is effective and uninterrupted.
In your first few weeks in this Build Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Design, implement and maintain production pipeline tools
- Create and maintain automation systems for optimal running of the game build
- Identify, communicate and propose solutions to issues impeding build performance
- Collaborate and communicate with development teams of all disciplines on build issues and how best to resolve them—release deployment coordination.
To apply for this Build Engineer role, you will need:
- At least three years of experience in game development with a focus on build engineering
- You will also require experience with C++, C# or Python
- Experience shipping a AAA game is considered an asset—unreal 4 and 5 experience preferred.
