Skillsearch is helping a games studio find an experienced Senior Animator to join an inclusive and collaborative team in Canada. This full-time role offers a favourable salary and benefits package, and it can be fully work-from-home, or per your preference, can transition to partially or mostly in-office either in B.C. or Alberta.
As a Senior Animator, you will be creating an immersive and rewarding player experience in a new fictional universe. You will be one of the first on the animation team, helping establish pipelines and determining the quality bar for animations, while bringing to life believable characters and creatures.
In your first few weeks in this Senior Animator role, you can expect to:
- Create high-quality and believable animations
- Collaborate and iterate with design to create frictionless movement, engaging combat, and memorable character/creative moments
- Consider feedback from stakeholders and translate into actionable plans when appropriate
- Ensure communication across all relevant teams.
To apply for this Senior Animator role, you will need at least 5 years of experience as an animator, primarily in games. You will also require the following:
- Experience with the video game animation pipeline
- Understanding of Unreal Engine animation tools and workflows
- Experience animating cameras
- Experience in Unreal 5.
