As a Senior Animator you will help bring immersive worlds and diverse characters to life across a multitude of platforms. This award-winning studio will allow you to become part of a team where you can contribute and help develop multiple games. 

 This indie studio is working on making cutting-edge AAA PC and console games. With a veteran team having worked on some globally successful IP and winning several awards, they are set for huge success on their next project and everything to come in the future. As a part of the team, you will get to enjoy private healthcare, mentoring program, flexible working hours as well as a book club, board game collection and a diverse and welcoming team.

Senior Animator responsibilities: 

• Produce and implement animations that convey a visual style and design to the player 

• Uphold and develop animation pipelines for real time game assets 

• Working alongside the Art Director and team, deliver quality animations against schedule 

• Work with motion captured data and create hand keyed animations 

• Understand and utilize basic scripting and custom tools 

• Additional responsibilities may be assigned when needed 

Required skills for this Senior Animator role: 

• Extensive experience in game development and shipped titles 

• Skilled in Maya or an equivalent 3D animation software 

• Strong understanding of both traditional and 3D animation rules and techniques 

• Experience in realistic and stylized approaches to animation, including facial animation 

• A strong aesthetic approach to the depth and timing of your animation 

• Experience in basic camera techniques and terminology, as well as acting principles  

• Self-driven, able to interpret design documents and give additional direction 

• Able to problem solve with creative and innovative ideas  

• Play an active part in the development process, whilst able to give and receive constructive critiques 

• An interest and understanding of contemporary and cutting-edge technology 

• EU or UK residency, with the ability to work onsite in Galway, Ireland
