Are you an experienced and passionate Engine Programmer, seeking a new remote role in the UK? Our client is seeking a Senior Animation Programmer to join their In-house engine Tech Team, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.
Our client's Tech team are a team of highly skilled and experienced programmers who develop our in-house engine, asura, with innovative technology. You’ll work on developing core systems and features within the engine to help our games come to life!
In your first few weeks in this Senior Animation Programmer role, you can expect to:
- Develop and implement animation code for our in-house engine
- Maintain and develop features within our animation systems
- Collaborate with content creators to write some of those tools and features
- Write and test larger classes and code with complex functionality
- Fix complex bugs in both familiar and unfamiliar code
To apply, you will need knowledge of the internal workings of animation systems and proficiency in C++You will also require the following:
- Experience with IDE and debugging techniques
- Experience with numerical concepts such as underflow and FP precision
- Proficiency with Finite State Machines
- Competency with 3D geometry computation
