Our client is looking for an experienced AI Programmer familiar with creating games using the Unreal Engine to join our team of talented RPG developers. This full-time AI Programming role is based in Irvine, CA, and comes with a generous salary and benefits package.
As an AI Programmer, you will enjoy working closely with designers and other programmers to develop as well as maintain high-quality gameplay and AI systems. This position requires the ability to work onsite or in a hybrid capacity at the Entertainment office in Irvine, CA.
In your first few weeks in this AI Developer role, you can expect to:
- Design, implement, debug, and optimise AI systems and behaviours using C++ in Unreal Engine
- Collaborate with designers and other programmers to improve AI systems
- Mentor other programmers.
To apply for this AI role, you will need prior AI programming experience with credits on at least one shipped action game or RPG. You will also require the following:
- Domain-specific AI knowledge, including decision-making systems, pathfinding, and avoidance algorithms
