Do you have 3D modelling experience and are seeking a new job in Kuala Lumpur? Our client is looking for a full-time 3D hard surface & organic modeller, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.
As a 3D Modeler, you will work within a team of artists to create 3D assets, including modelling, environment modelling and texturing. You will also be a passionate and dedicated Modeler who dictates high proficiency in Maya and Zbrush.
In your first few weeks in this 3D Modeler role, you can expect to:
- Create high-end 3D hard surface and organics modelling based on concept design
- Apply material and texture on geometry based on the design
- Collaborate with the modelling team to create a model that meets technical needs
- Work with animators to design motion controls
- Communicate new tools and techniques to teammates in the department
To succeed in this flexible role, you should have a minimum of five years of 3D modelling experience and excellent organisational and management skills. You will also need:
- Advanced/intermediate modelling texturing and animating experience
- Knowledge of art processes and the production pipeline
- Ability to work efficiently with various personalities and different work styles
- High level of initiative, flexibility and confidence
- Ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks while remaining efficient and mindful of strict deadlines in a busy environment
