We are looking for an SAP Payroll Lead to design, implement, and optimise enterprise payroll solutions, ensuring seamless integration across SAP, Workday, and other HR systems. This role focuses on SAP Payroll, balancing compliance, automation, and operational efficiency.

As a hands-on technical leader, you will collaborate with payroll teams, HR, finance, and IT stakeholders to drive an effective payroll strategy.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Payroll Implementation & Optimisation

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Payroll solutions
• Ensure compliance with local and international payroll regulations
• Drive process improvements, automation, and integration with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and other HR platforms
• Troubleshoot payroll issues and optimise workflows for efficiency and accuracy

Payroll Operations & Integration

• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing
• Manage payroll data flows between SAP, HR, and finance systems, ensuring seamless integration
• Define payroll governance models and best practices, ensuring security and compliance
• Support system upgrades, testing, and enhancements to improve payroll efficiency

Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with HR, finance, IT, and external vendors to align payroll processes with business objectives
• Lead a team of payroll specialists and provide training, mentoring, and technical guidance
• Ensure adherence to payroll policies, auditing standards, and industry best practices
• Drive adoption of self-service payroll solutions to enhance employee experience

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on SAP Payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Expertise in SAP Payroll, time management, and related modules
• Strong understanding of global payroll regulations, compliance, and tax requirements
• Experience integrating SAP Payroll with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and third-party platforms
• Hands-on experience with payroll automation, process optimisation, and reporting
• Ability to collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to align payroll solutions with business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in SAP Payroll or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
• Experience with cloud-based payroll solutions and payroll transformation projects
• Knowledge of data security, GDPR, and payroll compliance frameworks
