SAP HCM Payroll Lead

Are you an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Lead looking for your next contract role? A leading global payroll and human capital management solutions provider is seeking a SAP HCM Payroll Lead to support their European operations. This is a full-time, remote contract role, offering a competitive EUR 1,100 per day.

The Role – SAP HCM Payroll Lead

This role requires strong expertise in German payroll and time regulations, alongside a hands-on approach and innovative problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll configurations, validating solutions, and ensuring seamless integration across payroll environments.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll System Implementation & Configuration

• Capture payroll configuration and exchange localisation information.
• Identify deviations from standard payroll processes and request necessary system updates.
• Coordinate with the GTAS team for payroll solution setup, testing, and validation.

Testing & Integration Support

• Validate payroll solutions and integrations, including System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Perform data validations across multiple systems (HRIS, PEX, Payroll).
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), parallel testing, and data migration processes.

Process Optimisation & Knowledge Transfer

• Track and manage configuration replication across payroll environments.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to HRO teams for payroll solution maintenance.
• Contribute to defining workarounds and resolution tickets for manual processes inventory (MPI).

What You’ll Need

• Strong knowledge of German payroll and time regulations.
• Experience managing end-to-end payroll processes and system configurations.
• Hands-on mentality with an ability to think outside the box and adopt new implementation methods.
• Proficiency in SAP HCM and payroll system integration.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills, working across global teams.

Location & Contract Details

• Remote (Europe-based role) with a preference for candidates in Germany.
• Contract position, offering EUR 1,100 per day.
