Remote Release Engineer

As a Release Engineer at this studio, you will be working fully remotely with the aim to ensure games are released using stable infrastructure and pipeline. The role will involve dealing with hardware failures, updating software, providing pipeline feedback and a lot more. 

This studio is a leading developer of games and is one of the biggest indie studios in Europe which works on a range of media from books and comics to TV and film! As they work on some exciting unreleased titles, they’re growing their diverse team, so it’s the perfect time to join them!

Please note this role is remote within Europe only.

Release Engineer responsibilities: 

  • Ensure game teams can deliver builds on schedule 
  • Review and maintain internal documentation 
  • Perform maintenance and fixed for pipelines 
  • Monitor and maintain infrastructure 
  • Provide feedback on how pipelines for projects can be improved 

Essential requirements for this remote role: 

  • Previous experience in a similar role 
  • Experience working on continuous integration 
  • Experience in a C++ build environment 
  • Have worked on the release process for one or more multi-platform game 
  • Experience with a continuous integration server such as Jenkins 
  • Experience with Perforce administration 
  • Experience working with monitoring tools for Windows & Linux 
  • Skilled in Jira & Confluence
