Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of groundbreaking technologies, methodologies, and innovations to enhance visitor experiences.
• Define strategic and business plans for the integration of emerging technologies in immersive entertainment and game design.
• Work closely with designers, engineers, and artists to integrate next-generation tech into development pipelines.
• Oversee the creation of prototypes and proof-of-concept projects, ensuring research translates into tangible enhancements.
• Manage the R&D budget effectively, prioritising high-impact projects.
• Drive improvements in studio processes and systems, fostering continuous innovation.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in interactive entertainment, gaming, and immersive experiences.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree or advanced qualification in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in R&D within gaming, immersive entertainment, or visitor experiences.
• Deep understanding of game development pipelines, production, and cutting-edge interactive technologies.
• Expertise in emerging technologies such as AR, VR, drones, and immersive environments.
• Strong technical proficiency with industry-leading game engines and development tools.
• Proven ability to inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
