Skillsearch is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced QA Technician to join our client's collaborative team in Guildford. This QA Tech role is for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension and comes with an attractive rate and the opportunity to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture.
As a skilled QA Technician, you will work closely with the QA and development team to push the level of polish and stability the team can achieve. From multiplatform ports and engine and editor testing to automation, you will have the chance to define how QA begins to roll out technical testing to all project areas.
In your first few weeks in this QA Tech job, you can expect to:
- Learn how the game works and how it fits together with creation tools
- Find, record and track issues
- Implement the QA process in all areas of the project
- Work hand in hand with engineers to focus on and improve features
- Guide external QA organisations supporting your work
