Are you an experienced live service games leader ready to shape a new cross-platform shooter from the ground up?

This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious, unreleased live service project and play a key role in defining its publishing and operational strategy for a global audience.

This role sits at the intersection of creative strategy, live operations, and market execution, with a strong focus on the North American market. You will help build structure, direction, and best practice from a zero base, working closely with development and publishing leadership across regions.

About the role...

You will contribute to the launch and long-term success of a new multi-platform live service shooting game. The project is still in development, so discretion and comfort working with evolving information are essential. The role requires deep understanding of cross-platform ecosystems, live service publishing, and player expectations in Western markets.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Shape publishing and live service strategy for a new cross-platform shooter
  • Contribute to operational planning, live service frameworks, and go-to-market execution
  • Apply deep knowledge of North American player behaviour and market dynamics
  • Collaborate with development and publishing leadership across international locations
  • Help define structure, workflows, and strategic direction from an early-stage foundation
  • Provide creative and strategic input across live operations, content cadence, and long-term planning
  • Act as a senior stakeholder working across time zones and regions

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in live service game publishing, operations, or product leadership
  • Strong experience working on or operating live service shooting games
  • Proven understanding of cross-platform environments and multi-platform ecosystems
  • Deep familiarity with the North American games market and live service expectations
  • Experience on comparable titles such as tactical shooters, FPS, or action live service games
  • A strategic, creative mindset with the ability to build structure from the ground up
  • Comfort working on unreleased projects with limited externally shareable information
  • Experience working with agencies or creative partners is a plus

Location and setup:

  • Working location: Korea or Madison, Wisconsin
  • Hybrid or on-site depending on location and team needs

If you are a senior live service games professional who thrives in zero-to-one environments and wants to help define the future of a new cross-platform shooter, this role could be an excellent next step. Apply now, or email Joe McKernan - jm@skillsearch.com
